It is essential that different plastics are stored in different liners, i.e.,
Liner 1 - Bale wrap, silage sheet, pallet wrap, poly feed bags (25kg)
Liner 2 - Polyprop fertiliser bags and other ½ ton dumpy bags.
Liner 3 - Dairy cleaning drums, spray cans, drench bottles, buckets (without metal handles). Take the tops off, triple rinse and flatten under a tractor wheel.
Liner 4 - Net wrap and bale string.
1. Insert the liner and secure the bin.
Each liner can hold approximately 200 bale wraps (250 kg) of waste plastic, All liners must be properly tied for transport. Simply position the liner in the bin, load it with the waste plastic, tie up and remove for storage. The bin unclips on the side to remove the full liners. The tough and durable bin is itself made from recycled plastic. The liners provide safe storage on your farm prior to collection.
4. Tie the liners securely, and open the bin outwards.
5 Use a bale squeeze or other suitable equipment to move the liner to a convenient
area ready for collection.
2. Place the used plastic wrap in the liner as soon as possible, reducing contamination.
3. Compress the plastic in the bin to get as much as possible in the liner.
