The National Farmers Recycling Service has been developed by Solway Recycling Ltd to help Farmers and Growers comply with the waste legislation, and provide them with a comprehensive waste service. This simple, low cost, ‘Pay-As-You-Go’ system is sold to the the farming community right across the UK and Ireland. Solway has developed a major network of collectors and distributors (all of whom have an agricultural background), who work together to provide an effective waste service to Farmers and other rural-based industries. Kernow Farm Plastics Ltd. is part of the network, representing the South West.

Kernow Farm Plastics offers free registration to the NFRS. Each Farmer will be given a free NFRS Waste Policy, which includes a Recycling Certificate, a section for storing Waste Transfer Notes, which are issued by Kernow Farm Plastics each time a controlled waste is collected. Information held in the Waste Policy proves that you have disposed of your waste in an acceptable and legal manner. You may also be asked to provide this evidence for the Environment Agency, SEPA, Farm Assurance or other regulatory bodies.

Once registered for the NFRS the Farmer is kept informed about changes in legislation and other new Farm Recycling issues. Working with Solway, Kernow Farm Plastics offers you a simple, cheap, pay-as-you-go, waste management system.

Hazardous Waste (such as sump oil). Working through the NFRS Kernow Farm Plastics provides a brokering service for the disposal of hazardous waste.
