The National Farmers Waste Service has been developed by Solway Recycling Ltd to help Farmers and Growers comply with the new waste legislation, and provide them with a comprehensive waste service.

This simple, low cost system is sold to the the farming community right across the UK and Ireland. Solway has developed a major network of collectors and distributors (all of whom have an agricultural background), who work together to provide an effective waste service to Farmers and other rural-based industries. Kernow Farm Plastics is part of the network, representing the South West.

Kernow Farm Plastics offers free registration to the NFWS. Each Farmer will be given a free, NFWS Waste Policy, which includes a Recycling Certificate, a section for storing Waste Transfer Notes, which are issued by Kernow Farm Plastics each time a controlled waste is collected. Also, at the end of each year, Farms will be given an Annual Statement, which details all of the holdings waste movements for that period. Information held in the Waste Policy proves that you have disposed of your waste in an acceptable and legal manner. You may also be asked to provide this evidence for the Environment Agency, SEPA, Farm Assurance or other regulatory bodies.

Once registered for the NFWS the Farmer is kept informed about changes in legislation and other new Farm Waste issues.  Working with Solway,  Kernow Farm Plastics offers you a simple, cheap, pay-as-you-go, waste management system.
